What we do
IBIOS is business software and AI built inside a bathroom showroom in Doagh, Co. Antrim. We build the software ourselves and use it ourselves. Every feature starts as a real problem in a real showroom.
The work spans products such as Quote Studio, inventory control and Ask IBIOS, used by businesses such as bathroom retailers.
Small team
We are a small, focused team. Everyone ships. There is no layer of management between a decision and the code that implements it.
Remote-friendly
Work from wherever you are most productive. We operate asynchronously by default, with video calls for planning and review.
Real problems
Every feature we build started as a real problem in a real trade showroom. We do not build features for demos. We build them because the business needs them.
What it’s like to work here
We’re a small, focused team. Nobody manages nobody — everyone ships. If you write it, you own it, and you see it running in a real business the next day.
We use enterprise AI inference providers, modern web frameworks, and managed relational databases. We are ruthlessly focused on trade vertical problems and not distracted by enterprise features we’ll never need. If a feature does not solve a real problem for a bathroom showroom, tile merchant, or kitchen fitter, it does not ship.
The pace is honest: some weeks are sprint weeks, some are consolidation weeks. We do not crunch for the sake of it. We also do not move slowly for the sake of process. Ship when it’s right; fix it quickly if it isn’t.

Where is the IBIOS team based?

What technology does IBIOS use?
We build with modern TypeScript frameworks, self-hosted PostgreSQL, and Docker. Our AI inference uses multiple enterprise providers — you'll work with the abstractions, not the vendors directly.
Does IBIOS offer remote working?
Yes. The team is remote-friendly. Most work is done asynchronously, with video calls for planning and review sessions.
