Questions about bank details on quotes
Do I have to manually add bank details to every quote?
No — they’re embedded automatically when the feature is enabled. One setup, every quote. Your account number, sort code, and payment reference are inserted at document generation time without any extra steps from your staff.
What if I use different accounts for different customers?
The bank details follow your tenant configuration — one set of details for all quotes, or split by quote type. If you need separate accounts for deposits versus balances, that can be configured per quote type in your settings.
Does the customer need the QR code or can they just read the details?
Both — the account number and sort code are printed in plain text, and the QR code is a convenience shortcut. Customers who prefer to type the details manually can do so, and customers on their phone can scan the code and pay from there.
Can I see which customers have paid after scanning the QR?
Payment confirmation syncs back to the job record when connected to Stripe. The job record updates automatically, and you can see payment status across all jobs in the dashboard without manual reconciliation.
