When will IBIOS sync with Xero and QuickBooks (coming soon)?

Accounting sync with Xero and QuickBooks is coming soon; it is not live yet. When it launches, an invoice you raise in IBIOS will appear in Xero or QuickBooks — with line item detail, VAT treatment, and the customer reference already populated, so you will not need to re-enter data.

Once accounting sync launches, a customer payment via IBIOS pay-by-link will be reconciled against the invoice in your accounting package, so your bookkeeper or accountant will not need to match bank entries to invoices manually.

For VAT-registered businesses, IBIOS records the VAT rate on every line using HMRC’s standard categories. Once sync launches, that data will flow into Xero or QuickBooks, where your quarterly returns are filed.

What will sync (coming soon)

Sales invoices

Will be created in IBIOS and pushed to Xero or QuickBooks with full line detail

Credit notes

Will be issued in IBIOS and matched to the original invoice in your accounting package

Customer records

New customers will be created in Xero or QuickBooks; existing ones matched by email

Payment receipts

Pay-by-link payments will be reconciled against the invoice in your accounting package

VAT codes

Standard rate, zero rate, and exempt will be mapped to your accounting VAT codes

Payment integrations

IBIOS integrates with Stripe and SumUp for pay by link. Your team can send a payment link with a quote; invoicing is coming soon.

The customer opens the link and pays by card, and IBIOS records the payment against the job. Pushing the transaction to your accounting package is coming soon.

A QR code on the quote PDF links to the same payment: the customer scans the code and pays by card, and the payment is recorded against the job in IBIOS.

What do people ask about IBIOS integrations?

Does IBIOS integrate with Xero?

Coming soon. Xero sync is not live yet. When it launches, invoices raised in IBIOS will be pushed to Xero, including line item detail, VAT treatment, and customer reference, and payments received via IBIOS pay-by-link will be reconciled in Xero without manual entry. The Xero integration will be part of the IBIOS Accounts product.

Does IBIOS work with QuickBooks?

Coming soon. QuickBooks Online sync is not live yet. When it launches, invoices and credit notes will be pushed automatically, payments will be reconciled, and customer records will be kept in sync.

Can I take card payments through IBIOS?

Yes. IBIOS integrates with Stripe and SumUp for pay by link. A payment link can be sent with a quote (invoicing is coming soon), and the customer pays by card. A QR code for the payment link can also go on the quote PDF.

Does IBIOS sync with Microsoft 365?

Not yet: Microsoft 365 integration is coming soon. When it launches, the plan covers three areas: routing customer and supplier emails sent from IBIOS through your Microsoft 365 account, syncing IBIOS appointment slots with your Microsoft 365 calendar, and posting job status notifications and call summaries to Teams channels.

How are integrations priced?

IBIOS prices have not been published yet: founding prices for waiting-list members are explained on the pricing page. Accounting integrations (Xero and QuickBooks, coming soon) will be part of the IBIOS Accounts product. Payment integrations (Stripe and SumUp) are part of the IBIOS Payments product. Transaction fees from Stripe and SumUp are charged by those providers at their own rates.
