Quotes, jobs and payments in one place. Even when you’re in a consumer unit.
Electrical work demands your full attention on site. IBIOS keeps customers, quotes, jobs, supplier orders and payment links in one connected record. Coming soon: an intelligent office manager on your phone line that will capture enquiries and book surveys while you work. IBIOS is job management software for UK electricians, made by IBIOS Limited (NI743167) in Northern Ireland; access is by waiting list.
A day on the tools without IBIOS
You are mid-job, first fix wiring on a new build. Your phone rings. You cannot answer. It keeps ringing through the day. By the time you check it on the drive home, some callers have left voicemails, one sent a text, and another is already booked with someone else.
The quote you need to write for last Friday’s survey is still not done because you spent the morning on-site and the afternoon collecting materials. The customer has texted more than once asking when they’ll receive it.
At the end of the day the jobs that needed doing at the start of the day are still waiting, and new ones have been added. Nothing has been invoiced for a while because raising invoices requires sitting at a desk, and sitting at a desk requires time you don’t have.
What changes
Phone rings unanswered on site
Coming soon: AI office manager will answer, qualify the caller, book a survey slot if available, and log everything
Quote written in the evening, often days after the survey
Quote template generated from the survey notes — send directly from IBIOS once reviewed
Payment chased by text or call, often repeatedly
Pay-by-link sent from the job record — payment confirmed and logged automatically
Materials order on a separate email or phone call
Supplier order raised from the job record — delivery tracked, invoice matched
Coming soon: a typical call — what the office manager will do
Planned scenario: a homeowner rings in the early afternoon asking about an EICR for their property. You are on site.
Coming soon: the AI office manager answers the call.
The caller explains they need an EICR done before they complete a house purchase. The office manager explains what is involved, how long it takes, and your general pricing bracket — drawn from the information you have loaded.
The caller asks whether you can do it this week. The office manager checks your live calendar: there is a free slot on Thursday afternoon, so it offers that.
The caller confirms. The booking is logged in IBIOS, a confirmation text is sent to the caller, and the job appears in your dashboard.
You see the new booking when you finish on site. No voicemail, no callback needed.

Will the AI handle EICR and periodic inspection enquiries on calls (coming soon)?
Coming soon. When the AI Receptionist launches, it will draw on the knowledge you upload — including what an EICR costs, what it covers, and how long it takes — when callers ask. It will answer from your business information, not generic knowledge. If a caller asks something it cannot answer, it will take a message and flag it for your team.
We work across domestic and commercial sites. Can IBIOS separate those?
Yes. IBIOS supports multiple job types and customer categories. Domestic and commercial jobs can be tracked separately, with different quote templates, different payment terms, and different follow-up workflows as needed.
How does pay by link work for deposits and final payments?
From any job record, you generate a payment link and send it to the customer by email, or copy it into your own text message. They pay online using a card. The payment reconciles against the job automatically. No invoice chasing, no bank transfer confusion.
Will the AI book a survey slot while I’m on site (coming soon)?
Coming soon. When the AI Receptionist launches, it will check your live calendar before offering any slot and only confirm times that are genuinely available. When a slot is booked, it will appear in your IBIOS dashboard immediately.
What will happen to calls from subcontractors or suppliers (coming soon)?
Coming soon. When the AI Receptionist launches, it will handle calls whether they are from a customer, subcontractor, or supplier. It will look the caller up in the CRM, capture the reason for the call, and log a summary, flagging urgent matters for immediate attention.
Quotes, jobs and payments, sorted while you work.
