IBIOS for Claude: connect Claude to your business records (coming soon)

IBIOS for Claude is a planned connector, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), that would let your people use Claude to read their IBIOS records and company brain. Each person’s own permissions would apply and every answer would show its source. It is coming soon and is not available yet.

Who it is for: IBIOS customers whose staff already use Claude and would rather ask it about customers, jobs and quotes than switch screens.

What is an MCP connector for Claude?

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open way for an AI assistant such as Claude to ask another system for information. An MCP connector is the piece that sits on the business side and decides what the assistant may ask for.

IBIOS for Claude is planned as that piece for IBIOS. It would let Claude read your IBIOS AI Company Brain and records, so you can ask Claude “what is outstanding on this customer’s job” and get an answer built from your own records. It is coming soon and nothing about it can be used today.

Whose permissions would Claude use?

The person’s own. Sign-in is designed to be the person’s IBIOS login with a consent screen, and the tenant, user and role come from that sign-in, never from what the assistant says about itself. A role that cannot see cost and margin figures in IBIOS would not be offered cost and margin tools through Claude.

Read-only comes first. Where a change is ever allowed, the design is that the assistant proposes it and a person confirms it inside IBIOS. There is no tool for payments, sending email or deleting a customer.

Can I see what Claude has asked IBIOS for?

That is the design. Every request is meant to be logged, and a company admin would get a screen to see connected apps and usage, revoke any connection and switch all of them off in one step, on the web and in the app.

Each answer is designed to return its sources, or to say that no evidence was found. The same “I can’t see that” behaviour that Ask IBIOS shows today.

What about ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini?

They are on the roadmap, after Claude, and none of them is built. We are not saying IBIOS works with them. If that changes, this page will say so with a date.

Does IBIOS work with Claude today?

No. IBIOS for Claude is coming soon and is not available yet. Ask IBIOS, the typed question tool inside IBIOS, is live.

What is MCP?

Will Claude be able to see everything in my IBIOS?

No. It is designed to use the signed-in person’s own permissions only, so it sees what that person can see in IBIOS and nothing more.

Can Claude change my records or send emails through IBIOS?

Not in the design. Read-only comes first. If changes are added, the assistant would only propose them and a person would confirm inside IBIOS. There is no tool to pay, send email or delete a customer.

Will it work with ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini?

Those are roadmap only, after Claude, and none is built. IBIOS does not work with them today.

Is IBIOS for Claude in the Claude connectors directory?

No. It is not listed in any assistant directory and has not been approved by any assistant provider. It is coming soon.
