IBIOS checks each person for clashes, and fitters see only their own jobs and handover packs on the IBIOS app. It is part of IBIOS, rolling out to founding members: the schedule board and clash checks are live, and the full fitter planner is in testing.

What is fitter planning in IBIOS?
An accepted quote becomes a job, and a job needs a fitter on a day. Fitter planning puts the fitters and the jobs on one calendar so you can see who is where, instead of piecing it together from diaries and messages. It is part of the IBIOS workforce schedule board and field service.

How does IBIOS stop a fitter being double booked?
When you put a fitter on a job, IBIOS checks that person against the rest of their calendar. If they are already busy, you are told. The check is per person, so a clash for one fitter does not block the others.
The calendar is the same one your team uses for appointments, and it stays in step with calendar sync.
What do fitters see on the app?
Fitters see only their own jobs, not the whole diary and not other fitters’ work. For each job they can open the handover pack: plans and products, with no prices. Read more about the fitter job pack and the IBIOS mobile app.
How to plan a fitter on a job in IBIOS
Open the job
Start from the accepted quote and its job, or from the schedule board.
Pick the fitter and the day
Choose the fitter and the date. IBIOS checks that person for clashes.
Confirm it
The visit goes on the calendar, and the fitter sees it, with the job pack, in the IBIOS app.

No. The handover pack shows plans and products only. Prices are left off.
Does fitter planning include timesheets?
Not yet. Timesheets are planned and not built. The schedule board is the part that is live.
